The Knockando Woolmill team are gearing up for this weekend's Edinburgh Yarn Festival! We're busy packing for our stall, which will be full of our knitting yarn range, clootie rug kits, craft kits, and a selection of our other woollen products. Pop by the stall to see what we've brought down the road! Our friend and collaborator Helen Lockhart of Ripples Crafts also has a stall, and will be selling her fantastic selection of hand dyed yarns. To see more of Helen's range head to her website, Ripples Crafts: www.ripplescrafts.com
The festival is taking place at the Edinburgh Corn Exchange this Saturday and Sunday (14th and 15th of March) with the marketplace open from 10am until 5pm. There are over 100 other vendors, along with a host of workshops and masterclasses teaching everything from darning, drop spindling, and all sorts of different knitting styles and stitches! Tickets and more information about the event are available on the Edinburgh Yarn Festival website: www.edinyarnfest.com
